Meetings are held every second Monday evening (excluding statutory holidays, school events, etc.) in the Drama Room at Port Moody Senior Secondary School, 300 Albert Street, Port Moody, BC. Meetings start at 7:30 PM sharp. Guests are always welcome!

September 14, 2015 – Topic: Welcome to new members and Projection of Summer Assignment images.
September 28, 2015 – Topic: Exposure Triangle/Composition and Hands-on Session – Still Life.
This meeting is all about taking control of our cameras. Learning to shoot in manual mode enables us to bring out our creative vision when shooting, and how to make images rather than take images. Wondering how to make the background blurry? Or how to get that lovely silky smooth water in your landscapes? Bring your cameras, lights, tripods and any props you need to set up a still life.
After a short introductory session on manual mode, you’ll be able to practice changing settings to achieve your vision while still retaining the desired exposure. Mentors will be on hand to help out with questions and advice.
This will also be a great time to find your photo buddy and swap images to see how your buddy would post process your images and vice versa. A wonderful learning opportunity.

November 16, 2015 – Topic: Still Life Image Projection of images created on September 28th using manual camera settings. Members who did not participate are also encouraged to bring up to 5 other images on any subject for display. (Images should be sized — 1920 x 1080 px).

April 25 2016 – Topic: Image Projection – Challenges: Abstract Photography and Nature. Bring up to 5 images on a flash drive, sized at 1920 x 1080 at 72 pixels per inch.
May 9, 2016 – Topic: Gallery Night, Social and Club Executive Elections. Exhibit your prints and be prepared to tell the members about why, how, and what you did with your prints. Members will move as a group from display to display.
June 13, 2016 – Topic: Hands-on Session – Outdoor/Indoor Shots.
June 27, 2016 – Topic: Image Projection – Six Favourite Images and Summer Assignments.
