Drop in community event. Forum is across the street from the Poirier Rec Centre/swimming pool. Entry by donation. Winter home of Snow geese. There are 192 regular bird species on site and 106 casual or accidental visiting bird species. Sanctuary is protected by the Government of Canada, providing a safe refuge of migratory birds. On site there are bird blinds, viewing platforms and a viewing tower. - All visitors require reservations for parking.
