Club Meeting – Lightroom with Ethan Pt. 1

A Fall Series

A creative fall series is planned with Ethan Zargo this September, October and November to
gain new creative knowledge that can be implemented in our photos and Lightroom edits. This will prepare us for another outstanding showing at the 2027 North Shore Challenge event.

Lightroom Session 1

In last season’s “Black and White Fine Art Architectural Photography” session, Ethan explained how he meticulously removed every piece of balcony furniture and miscellaneous, unwanted stuff from an image of a building.  Ethan has both the patience and skill of a Lightroom Master.  

In this session, he will combine the knowledge gained from the “Psychology in Photography” session with his Lightroom expertise to work with both his own images and ones submitted by club members. The session will be tailored to all Lightroom levels from beginner to intermediate to advanced so everyone can learn a few new nuggets. 

The Lightroom sessions will focus mainly on colour.  Black & white and colour each have their own approach and workflow, with some natural overlaps which will be addressed along the way.

Members can then work with their images, do some edits and resubmit to Ethan for review and further discussion at the November session. 

Submission deadline for these images will be October 27th.
